Shipping & Returns Policy

At Pink Misty Minerals & Gems, we take great care in packaging and shipping your authentic Wyoming gemstones. Please review our policies carefully before placing your order.

📦 Shipping Information

Processing Time

Standard Processing: 1-3 business days
Custom Orders: 5-10 business days (we'll notify you of exact timeline)

Orders are processed Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 PM MST will be processed the next business day.

Shipping Methods & Rates

Domestic US Shipping:

  • USPS First Class: 3-5 business days - Starting at $4.50
  • USPS Priority Mail: 2-3 business days - Starting at $9.00
  • USPS Priority Mail Express: 1-2 business days - Starting at $26.00

International Shipping: Available to select countries. Rates calculated at checkout. Customer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and fees.

Tracking & Insurance

All orders include tracking. Orders over $100 are automatically insured. We recommend adding insurance for high-value orders.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship within the United States and to select international destinations. PO Boxes are accepted for domestic orders.

📋 Return & Exchange Policy

Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of natural gemstones, we maintain strict return policies to protect both our customers and the integrity of our stones.

Return Window

14 days from delivery date for eligible returns. Returns must be requested within this timeframe—no exceptions.

Eligible for Return

Returns are accepted ONLY under the following conditions:

  • Damaged in Transit: Stone arrived broken or damaged (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence)
  • Incorrect Item: You received a different stone than what was ordered
  • Significant Misrepresentation: Stone differs substantially from listing description (color, size, or type)

NOT Eligible for Return

The following are NOT valid reasons for return:

  • Natural inclusions, color variations, or clarity differences (these are inherent to natural stones)
  • "Changed my mind" or "doesn't match my decor"
  • Slight variations in size, shape, or color from photos (all stones are photographed as accurately as possible, but natural variations exist)
  • Metaphysical properties not meeting expectations
  • Stones that have been used, cleansed, programmed, or energetically worked with
  • Custom orders, special requests, or personalized items
  • Sale or clearance items (all sales final)

Return Conditions - STRICT

To be eligible for return, items must meet ALL of the following:

  • ✓ Unused and in original condition
  • ✓ Not cleansed, charged, or used in any spiritual/metaphysical practice
  • ✓ In original packaging with all documentation
  • ✓ Return authorization number obtained (contact us first)
  • ✓ Returned within 14 days of delivery

Important: Once a stone has been energetically worked with (cleansed, charged, programmed, placed on an altar, used in grids, etc.), it cannot be returned. We consider this similar to "used" merchandise.

Return Process

  1. Contact us immediately at [your email] with your order number, photos, and reason for return
  2. Wait for authorization - Do NOT ship items back without a Return Authorization (RA) number
  3. Pack securely - Use original packaging and ship with tracking and insurance
  4. Customer pays return shipping unless the error was ours (damaged/incorrect item)

Refunds

Approved returns: Refund issued to original payment method within 5-7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Shipping costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless we made an error.

Restocking fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns that are not due to our error.

Exchanges

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our stones, direct exchanges are not possible. If you'd like a different item, please return the original (if eligible) and place a new order.

Our gemstones are authentic, hand-mined natural specimens—not mass-produced inventory. Each stone is:

  • Personally discovered and selected by our mother-son team
  • Photographed and listed individually
  • One-of-a-kind with unique characteristics
  • Energetically sensitive (once used, cannot be resold as "new")

These strict policies protect the integrity of our stones, ensure fair treatment for all customers, and allow us to maintain our commitment to authenticity and quality.

🛡️ Damaged or Lost Packages

Damaged in transit: Contact us within 48 hours with photos. We'll file a claim and send a replacement or issue a refund.

Lost packages: If tracking shows delivered but you didn't receive it, contact us within 48 hours. We'll investigate with the carrier.

Stolen packages: We are not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery. We recommend shipping to a secure location or requiring signature confirmation for high-value orders.
