SHIPPING POLICY

At Pink Misty Mineral's & Gems, we carefully package and ship every hand-mined gemstone from our Wyoming location to ensure it arrives safely at your door.

Processing Time

  • Standard orders: 1-3 business days
  • High-value gemstones ($500+): 1-2 business days (we take extra care with packaging and documentation)
  • Custom or special requests: 3-5 business days

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.

Shipping Methods & Rates

Domestic Shipping (United States):

  • USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days): $8-12 flat rate for most items
  • USPS Priority Mail Express (1-2 days): $25-35 for expedited delivery
  • Free Shipping: Available on orders over $150

High-Value Items ($500+):

  • Automatically shipped with signature confirmation required
  • Includes up to $100 insurance
  • Additional insurance available at checkout

International Shipping:

  • Currently, we ship within the United States only
  • International shipping may be available upon request - contact us at info@pinkmistyminerals.com

Tracking

All orders include tracking information. You'll receive:

  • Order confirmation email immediately after purchase
  • Shipping confirmation email with tracking number once your order ships
  • Delivery updates from USPS

Packaging

Every gemstone is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery:

  • Individual gemstones wrapped in protective materials
  • Secure boxes with cushioning
  • Discreet packaging (no external indication of valuable contents)
  • Provenance documentation included with all Wyoming Craton specimens

Shipping Insurance

Included:

  • Orders under $100: Standard carrier coverage
  • Orders $100-$500: Up to $100 insurance included
  • Orders over $500: Signature confirmation required + $100 insurance included

Optional:

  • Additional insurance available at checkout for high-value items
  • Recommended for orders over $1,000

Delivery Issues

Lost or Stolen Packages: If your tracking shows delivered but you didn't receive your package:

  1. Check with neighbors and household members
  2. Contact your local post office with tracking number
  3. Email us at info@pinkmistyminerals.com within 48 hours
  4. For insured packages, we'll file a claim and work toward resolution

Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the box and contents immediately
  2. Contact us at info@pinkmistyminerals.com within 48 hours
  3. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund

Delayed Shipments: While rare, weather or carrier delays can occur. If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, contact us and we'll track it down.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We cannot be responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Address changes must be requested within 2 hours of placing your order.

PO Boxes

We can ship to PO Boxes for orders under $500. Orders over $500 require a physical address with signature confirmation.
